France's Google war on free speech

The French have asked Google to take down links to 17,500 news stories … more than any COUNTRY IN  THE WORLD!!

France already had the most draconian anti free speech laws in Europe, but this is a new low (high).
According a letter addressed to the EU by Google Germany comes a close second with 16,500 requests referring to around 57,000 URLs followed by the United Kingdom that has made 12,000 requests concerning 44,000 URLs.

France’s 17,500 requests involve around 58,000 URLs.
