Peak expertosis
I think we've reached peak expertosis. Every single day experts go public with their contradictory advice in public letters to The Times et al.
The medics are even giving advice on subjects outside their claimed specialty. Are they publicity-seekers, retired advisors claiming that if only people had taken their advice everything would be fine?
But why go public, why not contact the government? Is their aim to spread fear and confusion about public health, face-masks, testing, herd immunity? I think we should be told.
As for me, I'm up to here with it.
It was Michael Gove who said, "People have had enough of experts". But that was in the Brexit debate.
I don't like him, but I know what he's getting on about. These comments apply to the Covid-19 'experts' and their contradictory advice... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGgiGtJk7MA
